Christie and Niki's weekend getaway to Chitown At the end of Sept 2001 Christie and I went to Chicago - because we've got bros in different area codes. just kidding. Chi town rocks.
Christi & Niki at the Tavern on Rush We are each drinking our favorite drinks - Christi's is Pinot Grigio, and mine is an Absolute Citron Cosmopolitan.			Tavern at Rush This was a great bar! Wonderful high top tables with great windows for people watching. From our judgement maybe the young pompous hang-out in the evenings - though we thoroughly enjoyed our early buzz that we caught there. It was pretty early when we stumbled out laughing so we headed to the nearest Starbucks for a coffee, as we knew it was going to be a late night. Then it was shopping!
Chicago Carriage Ride After a shopping spree we jumped on a horse drawn carriage for a beautiful ride through Chicago. Highly recommended, well, for tourists. Other Chi Town Adventures We visited our friends Raff and Dan we met while at school in Winona. Raff and Dan live in Lomburg. I visited, Jack the smack, a man I met while on a business trip in Atlantic City. Monday, our last day, we met my boss, Julie Kozak, for lunch. Then headed down to the Chicago Institute of Art and attended the van Gogh & Gauguin exhibit. Absolutely exquisite - highly recommend.			This is one of my favorite images This is my good friend Hal. 			Christie, Niki, Dave Miller and his friends What is she doing? Don't ask - I have no clue. I must have been having fun. Note to self: it is dangerous to drink Vodka Red Bull's over a prolonged period of time.
